ABOUT

Peconia started out as a one man project when few of Mr. Peconias (formerly known as M.Hjort) songs didn’t fit into the style of band which Mr. Peconia was involved as a drummer. Interest for American music, good food, guitar playing and noble booze grew up and Peconia started to take its form as a band.

Peconia is basically me exploring my own musical interests with a changing group of my friends. My interest in American music has pushed me to song writing but when performing live the outcome is always the combination of performing line-up.

Peconia has no limits; it can go beyond any genre.
